Malin Alegria

Last Friday I got to drive a YA author around to her presentation at the convention center. I've got to admit, I've never met anyone quite like her. She's a very interesting person that attracts people; all the librarians in attendance wouldn't leave her alone, lining up to get her autograph or just to speak to her, exchanging little stories with her and just making conversation. I think she's very interesting, with her background and experiences living in California, Baja California, New York and now in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
