BorderFest 06

We spent most of yesterday at BorderFest at the Dodge Arena. There was a carnival and several shows we took in. There were some cooking demonstration (eat healthier, etc.), performances by local Tejano bands (the ones I saw were from my home town, The Mexican Generation and Henry and the Glares from Donna) and a lot of walking street performers. There were several drum groups, cloggers, mariachis and folklorico dancers. There were loggers and duck races, and of course, a lot of fast food stands. Today we go back for more.
