The Parade featured several bands from the Houston area for some reason, and only one or two local high school/middle school bands. But it was pretty interesting with the Carnaval theme; the floats were reminescent of New Orleans, I guess, with the people tossing out beads. Notice the Killer Bee float, which is the mascot of the city of Hidalgo and the name of the ice hocky team.
